Lately I’ve been working on a lot of collaboration pieces! Not only does this help me move forward but it gives the opportunity to others to come along a the journey with me.
The newest piece is about ADHD called Teacher Says
Teacher Says is a beautiful poem, and children’s book. It is about the author’s two little boys’ daily struggle in school with ADHD. It is a simple and enlightening way of recognising that their struggles are real and how it affects their days. It is also about how it feels and looks to them and gives the outside world a small glimpse to have a better understanding. Always be kind.
At the back of the book there is a few pages of information surrounding ADHD from reliable sources as well. A did you know section.
It is hand drawn, no computer, hours spent erasing, redoing and making it beautiful. Mary-Anne Vegh is a beautiful friend and supporter of my boys. She is a local artist and has been working towards her goals for many years! I’m sso excited for her drawings to reach many.
This is one of my proudest pieces in writing and I cannot wait to share it.
We are in the process of formatting the digital works for publication and it wont be much longer!
